Why we chose it What put it on our list 5 points
    • SEBO’s page says the K models have a tightly sealed casing that stops dirty air escaping through its seams, plus a three-layer bag, an S-class pre-motor microfilter and an exhaust filter.
    • SEBO says its optional HEPA pre-motor microfilter removes at least 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 µm, and its standard S-class filter more than 99.9%. These are SEBO’s figures, with no report.
    • It uses a bag, and SEBO says the bag can be sealed when full so no dust escapes when you remove it.
    • Parts are sold: a SEBO service box with 8 bags, an exhaust filter and a pre-motor microfilter was about $68 on Amazon. SEBO’s site warns about counterfeit bags and filters.
    • The warranty is in writing: seven years on motors and five on parts and labor, with labor done by SEBO America or an authorized dealer.
Trade-offs What to weigh before you buy 4 points
    • HEPA is not standard. The K3 comes with an S-class filter, and the HEPA pre-motor microfilter is an optional extra whose price we did not find. Without it the machine does not meet our HEPA criterion.
    • We found no independent test of the seal or of the exhaust air. The September 2026 Asthma & Allergy Friendly list includes no SEBO vacuum.
    • SEBO sells through dealers and lists no price. The $949 we saw is one Amazon dealer’s price.
    • SEBO’s page gives no filter change interval. It lists 63 dBA and 12 lb.
What to know Details worth knowing first

SEBO builds its case on bags. Its filtration page argues that a bag holds nearly all the dirt, keeps the filters from clogging and can be sealed before you remove it, while a bagless bin sends dust into the air when you empty it. That matches our vacuum criteria, and our house dust guide explains why the fine dust is the part that matters.

SEBO also says, in so many words, that the K3 Premium’s casing is tightly sealed so that dirty air cannot escape through its seams. Its gap is the filter. The standard filter is S-class, which SEBO rates above 99.9% at 0.3 µm. HEPA is an add-on, and the grade of the exhaust filter is not stated. Buy the HEPA microfilter if you have dust allergies, and ask the dealer for its price.

We found no independent test of the seal, and SEBO sells through dealers, so the price varies and the warranty depends on an authorized seller. Treat the sealing and filter figures as SEBO’s own.

How SEBO Airbelt K3 Premium Canister Vacuum measures up against our vacuums criteria
What we checked What we found
A sealed system Maker’s claim SEBO’s K-series page says the machine has a tightly sealed casing that prevents dirty air from escaping through its seams. That is SEBO’s statement. We found no independent test.
HEPA on the exhaust Not verified Not standard. SEBO’s HEPA filter is an optional pre-motor microfilter (at least 99.97% at 0.3 µm, per SEBO). The standard filter is S-class (more than 99.9%). The exhaust filter’s grade is not stated.
Mess-free emptying Maker’s claim Bagged: a three-layer, 0.8 gal bag that SEBO says can be sealed when full.
Parts you can buy Maker’s claim A SEBO service box (8 bags, an exhaust filter, a pre-motor microfilter) was about $68 on Amazon. No change interval is stated, and the HEPA microfilter’s price was not found.
    What the labels mean
    • Verified We opened an independent record that confirms it: a certifier’s listing, a regulator’s list or a lab report. It is linked under Sources.
    • Maker’s claim The maker says so on its own page or label. We read it but found no independent record.
    • Not verified We looked and could not confirm it, or the maker does not say. Treat it as unknown.

Where to buy Other stores and the prices we saw 1 store
    • Amazon approx. $949. Sold by a vacuum dealer (Mr. Vac & Mrs. Sew), not by SEBO. SEBO’s warranty needs SEBO America or an authorized dealer, so check the seller.

Prices as we saw them on October 22, 2026. They change often. These links carry no tracking code and earn us nothing.

Alternatives Other options to compare 3 options
    • Miele Guard L1 Allergy About $749, bagged, with a HEPA exhaust filter as standard. Miele’s page does not say the machine is sealed.
    • LG CordZero A913BM About $400 list price, cordless and bagless. It holds an Asthma & Allergy Friendly certificate covering its seal and emptying, but LG’s page does not name a HEPA filter, and it appears to be discontinued (out of stock at LG on 2026-10-22), so we have not listed it.
    • SEBO Airbelt K2 Kombi About $499 at one dealer. The same filter design without a power head, for bare floors and rugs.
