Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Stir the almond butter, maple syrup, egg, and baking soda into a smooth, thick batter.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
  4. Scoop tablespoon portions onto the sheet and flatten slightly with a fork.
  5. Bake 10–12 minutes until the edges are set. They will be soft — let them cool on the pan 10 minutes to firm up.

Tips

  • Use a natural almond butter that is drippy at room temperature for the best texture.
  • They firm up a lot as they cool, so resist moving them while hot.
