Green Glow Smoothie
Reader ratingsA creamy spinach-and-pineapple blend that tastes like a treat but loads you up with greens.
Why it’s good for you
Spinach delivers magnesium and folate, while chia adds fiber and plant omega-3s to keep you full.
Ingredients
Instructions
- Add the coconut water and spinach to the blender first and blend until smooth — starting with the liquid and greens keeps it from clumping.
- Add the frozen pineapple, banana, and chia seeds.
- Blend on high for 45–60 seconds until completely creamy. Add a splash more coconut water if it is too thick.
- Pour into two glasses and drink right away while cold.
Tips
- Freeze ripe bananas in chunks so you always have some ready.
- Swap spinach for kale if you want a stronger green flavor — just remove the tough stems first.
